Most Dangerous Foods for Dogs

Foods and Substances that are Toxic to Dogs

One night after dinner we had a bit of salad left with the dressing already mixed in.as soon as we gave i bite to our little Chihuahua he ran outside and wasn’t acting himself. I crept under every plant or bush he could find in the yard. so though he was trying to slither away from pain he was experiencing. Of course this happened on a Saturday evening when vets that are open charge after hours emergency fees. Out little guy was in so much distress we certainly wasn’t going to make him wait for relief. One of the main questions the vet asked when accessing our pet was did he eat any onions, garlic or mushrooms. The answer was “no” then I started to think about what was the ingredients of the Italian dressing on the salad. Of course after costly tests and x-ray we were given medication to help sooth his digestion. Moral of story? Always read ingredients before giving anything to your pet to eat……When in doubt just don’t do it. If we had had the list below it would have saved us more than a couple hundred dollars.

The silver-lining to the story is our little Chihuahua is happy and healthy. AND the Vet we use is part of the Pet Assure Plan. No it isn’t a pet medical insurance plan but a discount program that gives you 20% off all services, medications and supplies. It really has come in handy considering we have not just one but 3 dogs in our family. 🙂

Oh-Oh! Did Your Dog Already have an Accident in the House? I came across this Dog urine remover spray and it has worked 10 plus +++ times better than other “Miracle” sprays.

**I even had a red drink spill on white carpet that the spray was able to take out.**
